What Can You Use the $15,000 Grant Towards?
The CDAP Grant works where it will cover up 90% of eligible costs related to the services from a digital advisor. These costs are specifically for creating a custom Digital Adoption Plan for you. The plan includes:

Is Your Business Eligible?
$500K+ Revenue
Your Business must have earned at least $500,000 of annual revenues – but not more than $100,000,000 – in at least one of the previous three tax years.
<500 Employees
Between 1-499 full time equivalent employees. Part-time employees are pro-rated as a percentage of FTEs.
For Profit
Your business must be a for-profit entity.
Canadian Ownership
Your business must be incorporated federally or provincially, or be a sole-proprietor with a Canadian-resident owner.

BDC 0% Interest Loan Up to $100,000
After you receive the plan, you can apply for a loan with BDC. Businesses that complete their digital adoption plan as part of CDAP can qualify for a loan of up to $100,000 at 0% interest towards implementing their plan.

Is Sensible Marketer an approved CDAP Advisor?
Yes, you bet. We were approved in October 2022 from the Canada Digital Adoption Program, part of the Innovation, Science and Econminic Development Canada to work with small and medium sized businesses under the Canada Digital Adoption (CDAP) Stream 2: Boost Your Business Technology
What type of Documents do I need to apply?
Make sure you have ready:
• Proof of Business Registration• Confirmation provided by CRA of sales tax registration or confirmation provided by the CRA of recent sales tax filleting (within the last 12 months)
• Proof of an employee (payroll run)
What type of costs are eligble?
Costs associated with retaining a restored CDAP Digital Advisor for the development of a Digital Adoption Plan. It also covers fees, commissions and charges by those approved CDAP Digital Advisors to create the Digital Adoption Plan. Federal and provincial sales taxes can be included in these costs.
What Costs are not eligible?
Anything outside of the creation of the plan. Trying to implement the plan for instance, would not be covered. But there are funding options to help with that.
When do I receive the grant money?
Small and Medium Businesses will be reimbursed for 90%; of the cost of developing the plan (to a maximum of $15,000), once the plan is completed and the invoices are submitted. A payment schedule for the digital adoption plan will be stated by the CDAP Digital Advisor, and is an agreement between the business and the Digital Advisor.
Can Sensible Marketer also implement the plan afterwards?
Yes! We have helped many businesses evaluate their tools and look for how they can maximize their investment, with integrations, upgrading or simply using all the features available. With technology that is outside of our wheel house, we have a network of companies we can give you referrals to. However, it isn’t a requirement for you to choose Sensible Marketer to implement your plan once completed. There’s no obligation once the plan is complete.
