In 2021, the Federal Government of Canada announced the Canadian Digital Adoption Program. The program offers $4 billion in total funding to help small and medium sized businesses like yours go digital, boost e-commerce presence and sales, or even help digitize business' operations.

There are two distinct streams:

Stream 1

Get Up To $2,400 To Help Get Your Business Online

Grow Your Business Online grant:
Get up to $2,400 to establish e-commerce capabilities and increase your online sales.

Who qualifies?

Companies who…

are for-profit (including for-profit social enterprises and co-operatives)
are registered or incorporated
are consumer-facing (sell goods and services directly to end consumers)
have at least one employee (other than the owner) or have had at least $30,000 in annual revenue in the most recent tax year
can commit to maintaining a digital adoption strategy for six months
are willing to participate in follow-up surveys, share data about the experience, and have their name published as a grant recipient

Get Up To $115K For Your Business Technology

Boost Your Business Technology grant:
Receive up to $15,000 to cover 90% of the eligible costs of a digital advisor, who will create a custom Digital Adoption Plan. Once the plan is created, you have access to interest-free loans of up to $100,000 to implement your plan.

Who qualifies?

Companies who…

have earned at least $500,000 of annual revenues—but not more than $100,000,000—in at least one of the previous three tax years.
have between 1 and 499 full-time equivalent employees (part-time employees are pro-rated)
are a Canadian privately-owned, for-profit business.
are incorporated federally or provincially, or are a sole-proprietor with a Canadian-resident owner.
