• Emma competed in her first essay contest when she was only 11 years old. Although she didn’t win, her passion for writing was born.
• The Rocky Mountains are where Emma feels happiest. As a lover of all things outdoors, you can find her deep in the mountains every chance she gets
• She loves Electronic Dance Music. In another life, Emma would be a world-renowned DJ, performing at music festivals across the globe.

How Emma’s passion for writing lead her to the marketing world.

From a very young age, Emma knew that her passion was effective communication with others. When her eight-year-old dream of being a children’s book author didn’t work out, she began to explore other options. Emma’s fascination with writing, interpersonal communication, and communication through visual arts eventually led her to the world of marketing. As a lifelong learner, Emma dove into the ever-changing world of digital marketing head first and has happily been exploring new trends, technologies, platforms, and strategies ever since.

Throughout her Communications degree at MacEwan University, Emma worked with various local businesses to grow their brands, attain new customers, and put out meaningful content on blogs and social media platforms.

As she worked with these businesses, she learned the value of performance marketing, with specific, measurable goals driving her every move. After watching the content and strategies she created help brands and businesses to grow, Emma knew she had found her calling.

Today at Sensible Marketer, Emma utilizes her skills and abilities to create meaningful, effective email, blog, and social media content for various clients. Working with strategists, developers, and designers, Emma helps to bring clients’ visions to life, targeting their ideal customer every step of the way.

In her downtime, Emma can be found hiking, fishing, camping, canoeing, or skiing all over Alberta and BC, lifting weights and listening to music, reading a good book, or spending time with her loved ones.
