• Growing up a math whiz, he took to a deep fascination with simulations, being able to forecast and program things. There was no looking back!

• Daniel enjoys DevOps and has talents in many languages; he’s skilled not only in C#, Python, PHP, and JavaScript but also in English and Yoruba.

Why Daniel became a developer

Daniel started his career in Oil & Gas after completing a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering and his Master of Science in Petroleum Technology. Working as an application engineer in research and lecturing, the dynamics never felt quite right. He moved from Petroleum Engineering to the world of programming, as he loved the infinite possibilities and rewards that came with coding. Funny enough, his technical prowess and understanding of Petroleum Engineering had several commonalities: both require technology, patience and determination to be “cracked!”

Today at Sensible Marketer, Daniel helps bring our clients’ designs to life, building websites and automated workflows in a site or software application to make things simpler. Once he’s done building the custom solutions or integrating an API, he builds documentation (gasp!) and training that have literally left our clients speechless.

His ability to understand the nitty gritty of web, building, testing and software development life cycle is what makes him a great developer. Being able to understand how things work is one of Daniel’s forte in the ever evolving world of IT.

When Daniel isn’t deep in code, you can find him talking about dinosaurs with his son or singing and playing horse with his daughter. When he’s not at a chessboard, you can find him strumming along on his guitar with his wife.
