Some things you may not know about Amanda

• She lives for anything magic! From live magician shows to being utterly obsessed with ‘Matilda,’ you can find Amanda watching it all on the regular with her own kids, until the day they refuse to watch it anymore.
• Hello fellow thrifters! Amanda loves anything from garage sales to online marketplaces. In her spare time, you can catch her perusing the aisles at the local thrift store or chasing garage sale signs, in pursuit of that diamond in the rough.
• The best hike she has done is Crypt Lake in Waterton, AB. In 8 hours, you see 4 waterfalls, cross a steel ladder through a 60 foot tunnel through the mountain, all while trying not to lose your spouse along the way.

How Amanda strikes the balance between brilliance and function.

Creativity has always been an innate skill, where not only is it a way for Amanda to express herself, but also to find peace. Even in her spare time, you’ll find her colouring, creating and crafting as it’s all second nature.

Her studies helped build her foundation, having a diploma of Interactive Media Design and a certificate in Graphic design, as well as a certificate in Creative Writing. As the world becomes more digitally advanced, Amanda is always looking at how to bridge those experiences and bring the best out of both the design and technical side.

Prior to Sensible Marketer, Amanda worked as a freelancer supporting a variety of businesses in different industries. She jumped in where needed, handling all aspects of the creative process for anything from a business card, to a billboard, stickers, clothing and more. She also carried the responsibility of interpreting a client’s thoughts to then code and program a final website.

Amanda was born in a small town outside of Edmonton, spending her childhood summers at the family cabin fishing, berry picking and enjoying family time. When she’s not online, the mountains are her go-to for tranquility and relaxation, as an outdoor walk cures everything.
